Stephen has worked as project architect at LEDA since 2003. Working on the Award winning Skelton Grange Environment Centre in Leeds for BTCV. He is also LEDA's code for sustainable homes assessor.

His knowledge of environmental and socially aware architecture has been developed over 10 years of practice, allowing him to continuously seek improvements in innovative design solutions in line with our client's expectations. Actively encouraging user and community participation to ensure inclusivity and a sense of ownership.

His interests include empowerment through architecture; timber frame construction and self build projects. Currently developing environmental awareness projects within schools through arts and media.

Stephen is a director of the Walter Segal Self Build Trust. The trust is a community development agency that provides a free resource service giving technical advice and general information to groups and individuals who wish to use a self build approach to solve their social housing and community building needs.
