Howdenshire Island

Jonathan Lindh has been involved with a project to create a tool for developing and sharing the present delights and future plans for Howden in Yorkshire.

He worked with the Howdenshire Town Team as part of a group led by artist Benedict Phillips to explore ways of communicating the vision for Howden in a way that would best engage local people.

Colvend, Grassington

June 08

LEDA have been appointed by the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority to design a new biomass heating system for their office premises in Grassington.

The new wood-chip boiler will be supplied with timber from local woodlands and replaces the buildings' existing gas boilers. This is a fast track project as the Authority wants the boiler up and running before winter.

LEDA Architect Stephen Jones Supports Shelter in his Annual participation.

The Architect in the House scheme offers expert home improvement advice in exchange for a donation to Shelter, the housing and homelessness charity.
